Comdini Productions is the production company of John Glaudini, Maria Cominis Glaudini and Charles Glaudini. We have produced development workshops, cabarets, and readings. We are a family business and strive to support work that challenges, illuminates and supports the marginalized voices.
BIOS
MARIA COMINIS She/Her is a first-generation Greek American. She is an actor, author, playwright, producer, and professor. She is the recipient of the National Endowment of the Arts Grant, 2022, a Semi-finalist in the Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference, 2022 and the Bay Area Playwrights Festival (BAPF), 2020 for her full-length play, WOMEN OF ZALONGO. In 2023, she was a Resident Artist in the HB Studio Rehearsal Space Residency, NYC. HB was her artistic home for a decade as an acting teacher and mentee of Uta Hagen. Television Credits: Hacks, New Girl, Desperate Housewives, All My Children, One Life to Live. Theatre:Bernarda Alba, The Diviners, Sea Gull, Ivanov, and many musicals including a CAMI National Tour. A Professor at CSUF since 2005, she teaches acting in the BFA Acting Program. She authored ‘Rehearsing in the Zone, A Practical Guide to Rehearsing Without a Director,’ Kendall Hunt Publishing, 2020, and co-authored, ‘Production Collaboration for the Theatre: Guiding Principles,’ Routledge 2022. She is a proud member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA, National Alliance of Acting Teachers and the Dramatists Guild, where recently she placed as a semi-finalist in the Dramatists Guild Virtual Residency. Represented by MINC Talent Agency and Literary Manager, Progyny Talent, NYC.
JOHN GLAUDINI He/Him is currently a full time music producer for Disney Live Entertainment, where he was recently the musical director for Frozen Live At The Hyperion. He arranges and musically directs several shows at the Disneyland resort. He also has musically directed many successful productions for local theatre companies. For MTW—The Little Mermaid, Spamalot, Singing In The Rain, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels to name a few. His musical direction for MTW’s Sweeney Todd earned an Ovation Award. For McCoy-Rigby/LaMirada—Rent, Billy Elliot, Les Miserables (Ovation Award nom), Cats, Spring Awakening (Ovation Award nom), Miss Saigon. For 3DT—Altar Boyz and Legally Blonde. For Musical Theatre Guild— Aspects Of Love, Street Scene. He co-wrote the revues, The Rat Pack Lounge, Are We There Yet?, A Christmas Survival Guide, and I Love New York (NY Bistro Award – Best Revue) which have been playing throughout the country. His career began assisting composer Stephen Flaherty on the shows Lucky Stiff, Ragtime, Seussical, and the film Anastasia. He has worked in the music departments on the Broadway productions of 9 To 5 (LA), Legally Blonde (San Francisco), Spamalot (Chicago), Bounce (Kennedy Center), and A New Brain (NYC). He is an alumni of the BMI Workshop in NYC. He is married to actress and CSUF acting professor Maria Cominis and is proud of their son, Charlie, who is also a musician and a graduate student at CalArts in sound design.
CHARLES GLAUDINI He/Him is a sound designer and music director and pianist based in LA. Recently, he designed the 25th anniversary production of Reefer Madness, produced by Alan Cumming and Kristen Bell at the Whitley in Hollywood. Favorite credits include: Mystic Pizza (La Mirada Theatre, Tour), The Little Mermaid (Musical Theatre West), Driver’s Seat (Theatre Planners, West Coast Premiere), Bhangin’ It (La Jolla Playhouse).
